WILLARD V. FUNK, 80, of Sidney, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 9:56 PM at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 9, 1937 in Greenville, Ohio, the son of the late Solomon Gale and Helen (Rex) Funk.
Willard was married to Linda May (Mattox) who preceded him in death April 3, 2012. He is survived by two children, Michael Funk of Colorado, and Lena Clayson of Urbana, one grandson, Michael V. Funk II of Colorado, and one brother, Leonard Funk of Sidney. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Bill, and two sisters, Barbara and Shirley.
Willard enjoyed fishing and talking to people, but most of all he loved spending time with family.
A Celebration of Willard's Life will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 2 to 4 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney.
