Tim Chester

TIM CHESTER, age 61 of Sidney, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 4:05 PM at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on September 27, 1957 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Joseph L. and Faye (Martin) Chester.

On April 2, 2010 Tim married Phyllis (Parke) who survives along with two children, Traci (Joel) Lyman, and Eric Chester both of Piqua, three step-children, Bridget (Tim) Stewart, Tiffany Craft both of Sidney, and Robert (Jaky) Asbury of Dayton, four grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, and two siblings, Joe (Lorain) Chester, and Marsha Jones both of Sidney.

Mr. Chester was a 1976 Fairlawn High School graduate. He worked for over 25 years at Schindler Elevator in Sidney, and worked at ITW Hobart Corporation in Piqua for the past 9 years.

Tim loved his family, especially his grandkids. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He enjoyed time with friends, playing cards, and was a member of the Troy and Piqua Eagles, and the Sidney Moose Lodge.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 7, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney, with Rev. Philip K. Chilcote officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 to 4 PM.
