Susan Annette Hickman

SUSAN ANNETTE HICKMAN, 58 of Sidney, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 11:45 AM at her home. She was born on March 11, 1960 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of John Hicks of Sidney and the late Julia Frances Schaffer.

On February 12, 1977 Susan married George W. Hickman who survives along with three children, Ruth and Christina Cates, Grace and Dave Taylor, and  Wes and Trista Hickman all of Sidney, six siblings, Jim, Frank and Angie Ludwig, Armilda Strunk, Amanda Asworth, and Kenny Napier all of Sidney, and six grandchildren, Jacob, Angela, Kaelin, Lily, Wrangler and Bell. She was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Emory Ludwig II.

Mrs. Hickman was a graduate of Sidney High School. She was employed by Impact Fulfillment Services in Vandalia as a quality inspector.

Susan loved her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach, and more than anything she loved being a Mamaw to her grandkids.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 7 PM, and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
