Reba E. (Honaker) Jones

REBA E. JONES, age 87of Sidney, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at 9:35 AM at her home. She was born on January 23, 1931 in Culloden, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Winford and Ora (Martin) Honaker.

On April 9, 1946 Reba married Norman T. Jones who survives along with their two daughters, Norma Jean Jones, and Deborah Michael both of Sidney, two brothers, Larry (Shirley) Honaker of Oregon, and Tee Honaker of Sidney, three step-brothers, Dennis, Roger and Junior Jacques, four grandchildren, Kevin (Jennifer) Michael, Holly (Scott) McCoy, and Amber and Krista Jones, nine great-grandchildren, Kelby, Codi, Wyatt, Dalton, Lansen, MaKellyn, Kolesen, Aubrey and Stephanie, two great-great-grandchildren and special friend, Violetta Bledsoe of WV.

She was preceded in death by a son, Monte R. Jones, son-in-law, Ivan Michael, siblings, Dorothy Workman, Wanda Trabert, Paul , Floyd, Phillip and Billy Honaker, and step-brother, Jimmy Jacques.

Reba retired from Wilson Memorial Hospital as a nurse's aide. She was a member of Hardin United Methodist Church, Pleiades Chapter 298 Order of the Eastern Star, and Gold Star Mothers. She enjoyed flower arranging, cooking and canning.
 
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney, with Pastors Earnie Jones and Jack Chalk officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM. Pleiades Chapter 298 OEA will conduct a Memorial Service at 6:45 PM Wednesday evening.
