Patricia Jane Birt

PATRICIA JANE BIRT, 88, of Sidney, passed away at 2:28 AM Saturday, January 5, 2019.  She was born on June 10, 1930 in Uniopolis, Ohio, the daughter of the late George and Ethel (Perkins) Gross. 

Patricia is survived by daughter, Tove (Gary) Russell of Sidney; three grandchildren, Eric (Jodie) Russell, Sherry (Dale) Guinther, both of Sidney, and Kristy (Adam) Batchelder of Anna; and eleven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by brother, Carl Burton Gross. 

Patricia was retired from Wagner Manufacturing after more than 22 years.  She enjoyed sewing and painting.  She also loved to travel.  Patricia was a member of Anna United Methodist Church.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., with Pastor Randy Locker officiating.  A Graveside Service at Pearl Cemetery will follow with grandson, Eric Russell officiating.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.  Condolences may be expressed to the Birt family at the funeral home's website, www.cromesfh.com
