Mary Magdelane (Timeus) Harlamert

MARY MAGDELANE HARLAMERT, 93 of Sidney, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 8:20 AM at Ohio Living Dorothy Love. She was born on August 4, 1924 in Sidney, Ohio, the only child of the late Grover C. and Hazel (Ordean) Timeus. On September 22, 1951 she married Dale B. Harlamert who preceded her in death on March 7, 2017.

Mary Lane, as she was known, is survived by two children, Mrs. Charles (Lynn E.) Leach of Sidney, and Steven Dale (Connie) Harlamert of Blanchester, OH, two grandchildren, Emily (Frank) Blewitt, and S. Mitchell (Amy) Harlamert, and two great-grandchildren, Frankie and Vivian Blewitt.

Mary Lane graduated from Sidney High School in 1942 and worked as a secretary at the former Hess & Hess Law Firm. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, a 75 year member of Pleiades Chapter 298 Order of the Eastern Star, past president of Wilson Hospital Auxiliary, a former leader of the Cub and Girl Scouts, and volunteered at Dorothy Love.

Mary and Dale traveled the world, but her favorite place was home with family and friends. Her love and support for her family are gifts they will carry with them always.

A Private Committal Service will take place at Graceland Cemetery with Rev. James Oates officiating. An Open House Visitation will be held Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 1 to 4 PM at The Aspen Club Room - Dorothy Love, 2500 Kuther Rd. Sidney. Pleiades Chapter 298 will conduct an Eastern Star Service at 3:45 PM on Sunday. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
