Laird E. Albin

LAIRD E. ALBIN, 88, of Sidney, passed away at 2:40 PM Friday, June 15, 2018 at Fair Haven County Home.  He was born on June 25, 1929 in Houston, Ohio, the son of the late Hugh Jean and Emma Gertrude (Grimes) Albin.  On May 15, 1976 he married Catherine E. Hughes, who preceded him in death on December 24, 2002.

Laird is survived by niece, Patricia Bynum of Sidney and nephew, Joseph (Bonnie) Elson of Ft. Loramie.  He was preceded in death by his only sister, Mildred Elson.

Mr. Albin was retired from Hobart Corporation where he worked in maintenance for more than 18 years.  He loved his dog Trixie, enjoyed telling stories and driving his truck.   

A Graveside Service will be held at Graceland Cemetery on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM, with Pastor Jeff Hill officiating.  Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S.
