Jeanine A. (Bluhm) Corbett

JEANINE A. CORBETT, 78, of 1077 Stephens Road, passed away at 11:48 AM Monday, December 17, 2012 at Dorothy Love Retirement Community.  She was born on September 29, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of the late Richard and Ruth (Walker) Bluhm. 

On September 7, 1957 she was married to Ronald "Bud" D. Corbett, who survives, along with their two sons; Richard D. Corbett and wife Brenda of Cincinnati, OH, and Ronald D. Corbett and wife Claire of Tipp City, OH, four grandchildren; Katelyn Corbett and fiancé Drew Oostra of Columbus, OH, Taylor Corbett of Cincinnati, OH, Keira Corbett of Tipp City, OH and fiancé Ben Ankrom of Circleville, OH, and Jaben Corbett of Tipp City, OH, one niece, Diane Mears, and one nephew, Robert Sevrence, both of Toledo, OH.  She was preceded in death by one sister, Lois Sevrence. 

Mrs. Corbett was a homemaker, dedicated to a life of loving and supporting her husband and raising her family.  She loved God, her husband and family, her church and friends.  Jeanine took great pleasure in helping those in need.  She also enjoyed traveling, gardening, crafts, nature, shorelines, reminiscing and reflecting.  She hated goodbyes.  Jeanine was a volunteer at St. John's Thrift Shop, member of St. John's Joy Circle, and the Sidney Gateway Squares (Square Dancing).  She will be forever remembered for her nurturing love and care, and dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Jeanine was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, where a Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 10:30 AM, with Rev. Jonathan W. Schriber officiating.  Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.  The family will receive friends today, from 4 to 7 PM at Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave.  Memorial contributions may be made to Senior Independence Hospice or St. John's Lutheran Church.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.  Condolences may be expressed to the Corbett family at our website, www.cromesfh.com
