JANIETH MARIE CARDWELL, 72, of Sidney, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at Wilson Health. She was born on January 2, 1946 in Gallipolis, Ohio, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary M. Cantrell. On November16, 1964 she married Wayne Ray Cardwell, who preceded her in death in 2009.

Janieth is survived by two daughters, Eva Lynn Cardwell and Mandalynne Marie Cardwell; four grandchildren, Makayla, Jeffrey, Raylen and Rayna; two great-grandchildren, Maci Merie and Marilyn Jane; and two brothers. She was preceded in death by three sisters.

Janieth loved more than anything to spend time with her grandchildren. She also loved her three dogs and two cats. She enjoyed watching cooking shows and regularly trying out new foods. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

In keeping with her wishes, no public services will be held. Her urn will be buried with her late husband at Dayton National Cemetery at a later date.
