Homer Jones Obituary

HOMER HAROLD JONES, 74, of Sidney passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 3:03 AM at his residence. He was born on December 18, 1943 in La Follette, Tennessee, the son of the late William and Lula (Fultz) Jones. On February 4, 1967, Homer married the former Dorothy Bray, who survives.

He is survived by three children, Lisa Vaughn, Lora (Don) Curl and Homer Jones Jr. all of Sidney; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Homer was preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers.

Mr. Jones worked as a millwright and bartender before he retired. Homer enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and Ohio State Buckeye Football. He loved to fish and to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In honoring Homer's wishes, there will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to:
