Harry Michael Mason

HARRY MICHAEL MASON, 76, of Sidney, passed away at 3:50 PM Sunday, June 10, 2018 at his residence.  He was born on May 7, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late John and Norma (Essard) Mason. 

On September 5, 1983 he married the former Brenda L. Tidwell, who survives him along with five children, Connie (Dan) Millhouse of Russia, Dale (Lora) Fogt of Jackson Center, Kenny (Chris) Fogt of Vine Grove, KY, Donna Fogt and fiancé Joe Shaber of Woodbury, TN, and Clint (Glennyce) Fogt of Piqua; thirteen grandchildren, Kennedy and Connor Metz, Kristen and Nicole Fogt, Madison and Owen Fogt, Grace and Cedric St. Myers, Daniel, Aleah, Jonathan, Adriana and Briana Fogt; three great-grandchildren, Damian Fogt, Taylynn Metz and Lincoln Bowden.  He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Jackie St. Myers.

Harry was a career truck driver and life-long member of the Catholic faith.  He was a member of the Teamsters Local 299.  Harry was a terrific story teller with a heart of gold who cherished time spent with his family and friends.  When he wasn't working he enjoyed fishing and playing cards.  Harry was a kind man, who never knew a stranger and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
