GEORGE GLENNIS MOSES, age 92 of Sidney, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 1:45 AM at his home. He was born on April 14, 1926 in Williamsburg, Kentucky, the son of the late Elige and Nellie (Croley) Moses.
On February 5, 1949 George married Dorothy Ellen (Pike) who survives along with three children, George "G.G." Glennis Moses II, and Chris M. (Dwight) Lewis, and Phyllis Miller all of Sidney, six grandkids, George G. III (Jenni) Moses, Sherri (Ben) Deal, Jonathan, Gary, and Laura Moses, and Amanda Lewis, six great-grandkids, Korie Deal, Gavin, Gabriel, Madison, and Samantha Moses, and Aviana Leach, and one brother, Arlis Gene (Lorene) Moses of Pleasant View, KY. He was preceded in death by two children, Danny Moses, and Sally Ann Moses, two grandkids, Billy Moses, and Danielle Ball, one great-grandkid, Tabitha Moses, and seven siblings.
Mr. Moses retired from the Garland Haswell Foundry in Sidney.
Everyone knew George as a "wheeler dealer."
In keeping with Mr. Moses' wishes, his body was donated to the Wright State University School of Medicine. His final arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave.
