Elinor Jean (Greive) Swank

ELINOR JEAN SWANK, 93 of Sidney passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at 10:10 PM at Lane Park of Sidney. She was born on October 22, 1924 in Piqua, Ohio, the daughter of the late Urban H. and Lucy M. (Jones) Greive.

On October 30, 1943 Jean married Lloyd G. Swank Sr. who survives along with their two children, Lloyd G. (Patricia) Swank Jr. of Jamestown, OH, and Susan (Terry) Russell of Anna, seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Bud and Urban Greive, and one sister, Virginia Minton.

Mrs. Swank was employed by Pangles as Head Cashier for 20 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Sidney First United Methodist Church.

Jean enjoyed being involved with her grandkids and great-grandkids, attending all of their activities. She was loved dearly by her family and will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 12 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney, with Pastor James Alter officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11 AM until the hour of service.
