Edna Barga

EDNA M. BARGA, 96, of Sidney, passed away at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at The Pavilion. Edna was born on April 30, 1921 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Elmer and Adah (Whited) Gibbs. On July 20, 1940 she married Paul Barga whom preceded her in death on November 11, 1987.

Edna is survived by one son, David Barga of Sidney, five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Barga, three brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Barga retired from Stolle Corporation where she worked for 34 years. She was a 1940 graduate of Sidney High School. Edna enjoyed traveling, playing Bingo and gardening. She loved to spend time at the Alpha Center and the Holy Angels Soup Kitchen socializing with many friends and acquaintances.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave. Sidney. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens.
