Diane Virginia (Myers) Ferree

DIANE VIRGINIA FERREE, age 70 of Sidney, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at 1:15 PM at Indian Lake Rehabilitation Center. She was born on November 6, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Millard and Gusta (Buckner) Myers.

She is survived by three children, Jeffrey Ray (Diane) Phillips of New Knoxville, Christopher (Dawn) Abele of Oswego, IL, and Steve Phillips of Knoxville, TN, one sister, Barbara Joan (Tom) Buell of Riverside, eight grandchildren, Bradley, Katie, Braeden, Kathryn, Kristyn, Brandon, Kristen, and Sabrina, five great-grandchildren, and niece Tammy Hudson of TN.

Mrs. Ferree worked as a clerk in the Kroger Deli for 16 years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, where she was active in the Steven's Ministry, Women of Destiny, Agape Circle, and the Food Pantry. She also served as a Hospice Volunteer. 

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 7 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 120 W. Water St, Sidney, with Rev. Cheryl Siegenthaler officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at the church. A Committal Service will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11 AM at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Xenia, Oh. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
