CLARENCE EDWARD PFAADT, 77, of Anna, passed away at 5:40 P.M. Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Wilson Health. He was born on February 9, 1941 in McCartyville, Ohio, the son of the late Edwin and Carrie (Wrigley) Pfaadt.
On July 12, 1963 he married the former Miriam Bambauer, who survives him along with two daughters, Sonja (David) Richard of Anna, and Jody (Michael) Schock of Sandusky; and four grandchildren, Olivia (Chance) Guisinger, Hayley (James) Barhorst, Zachary Schock and Emily Schock. He was preceded in death by son, Robbie Pfaadt.
Clarence was a lifelong member of St. Jacob Lutheran Church in Anna, where he served as a choir director, and as a church organist for over 60 years. He was a graduate of Anna High School, class of 1959, and a graduate of Bluffton College with a Bachelor's in Education. Clarence was a career educator and taught at Fairlawn, Jackson Center, and Riverside in DeGraff. In his freetime he enjoyed woodworking and continually playing and furthering his music skills. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughters and grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Jacob Lutheran Church in Anna, with Pastor Bonny Kennunen officiating. Burial will follow at Schwaberow Cemetery in New Bremen, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S.
