Billy C. Hepfer, Jr.

BILLY C. HEPFER, JR., 62, of Sidney, passed away at 10:23 AM Friday, October 19, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family.  He was born on June 22, 1956 in Troy, Ohio, the son of the late Billy, Sr. and JoAnn (Messick) Hepfer. 

On August 20, 1977 he married the former Christine Henman , who survives, along with two children, Brad (Karen) Hepfer, and Jess (Casey) McGreevy, both of Fort Loramie; three grandchildren, Harley Hepfer, Maggie and Claire McGreevy; and two sisters, Tina Allred and Beth Hepfer.

Billy was a graduate of Tipp City High School, class of 1974.  He was retired from the former Copperweld in Piqua, where he worked as a steel worker and sheet worker.  He loved football season and was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan since their establishment in 1968.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave.  The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 PM until the time of service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hugs for Henry or Wilson Hospice Care in Billy's memory.  Guestbook condolences and expressions of sympathy may be made to the Hepfer family at our website, www.cromesfh.com
