Bessie Jackson

BESSIE M. JACKSON, 75, of Sidney, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born on January 21, 1942 in Kingsport, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Orie and Mary (Click) Tate.

On June 6, 1959 she married Charley Jackson who survives along with six children; Kenneth (Angie Ludwig) Jackson, Charles Jackson Jr., Karen Jackson, Dan (Teresa) Jackson, Andrew Jackson and Amy (Ron Kennedy) Jackson, 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and seven siblings. She was preceded in death by two children, Timothy and Kathy Jackson and four siblings.

Mrs. Jackson worked at Walmart but her main joy in life was being a homemaker. Bessie loved to cook and read books. She enjoyed sewing and making quilts and she collected doll babies.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave. Sidney with Pastor Don Burley officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 - 7 pm.
