BENJAMIN J. ZIMPFER, age 35 of Anna, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 3:55 AM at his home. He was born on March 29, 1983 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of James and Patricia (Gross) Zimpfer of Anna who survive along with three sisters, Sandra Earick, Victoria (Todd) Fogt both of Sidney, and Amanda Zimpfer of Anna, niece, Elizabeth Fleming, nephews, Anthony and Dalton Earick, paternal grandmother, Maurine Zimpfer of Sidney, and maternal grandmother, Bert Gross of Maplewood. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Kenneth "Bus" Zimpfer, maternal grandfather, Victor Gross Jr, and uncle, Bud.
Ben was a 2002 graduate of Anna High School, and worked as an assistant supervisor for ConForm Automotive in Sidney. He loved collecting football and baseball cards, going to card shows, golfing, paintball, and vacationing to Myrtle Beach with friends. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, but most of all, he loved his family and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 5:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney, with Rev. Randy Locker officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1 to 5 PM. To honor Ben's wishes, he will be cremated following funeral services.
