Kathy Sue Dever

KATHY SUE DEVER, 55, of Sidney, passed away at 9:36 P.M. Monday, March 18, 2024 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. She was born on March 27, 1968 in Piqua, Ohio, the daughter of the late Lewis and Mildred (Slife) Dever. 

Kathy is survived by one sister, Patti (Nathan) Mescher of Sidney; six nephews and nieces, Toby (Robbin) Cruikshank, Tammy (Mike Harris) Wolaver, Kristy (Pat Johnson) Spriggs, Jarrett (Samantha) Mescher, Kaleb Mescher, and Simon Mescher; five great-nephews; and six great-nieces. She was preceded in death by two sister, Phyllis Cruikshank and Nancy Dever; one brother, Jerry Dever; and two nephews, Wesley Cruikshank, and Kieth Johnson.

Kathy enjoyed crafts, drawing, crocheting and playing bingo. She loved the company of the numerous cats she owned as pets over the years. Kathy was a kind soul that would do anything she could to help others. She loved her siblings, their children, and the numerous friends she had the pleasure of getting to know while being cared for at Momentous Health. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
