ROBERT L. "Bob" BODENMILLER, 84, of 229 New St. Sidney, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 8:50 A.M. at his residence.
Bob was born on May 24, 1925 in Shelby County, in Ohio, the son of the late Fred and Eileen (Valentine) Bodenmiller. On January 26, 1946 he married Elizabeth (Betty) Meyer who survives along with four children, Cheryl Dietz of Anna, OH., Mrs. David (Mary) King of Botkins, OH., Greg and Kaye Bodenmiller, and Terry and Debbie Bodenmiller all of Sidney. Grandchildren, Michelle (Jason) Gordon, Jason (Jari) King, Mindy (Mike) Hiler, Jimmy King, Maryann Yinger, Jessicia Bodenmiller, Robert Smith, Jutin (Stacy) Smith. Great Grandchildren, Carter Gordon, Amber and Andrew King, Rebecca King, Jarret, Jada, Jadyn Yinger, Karli and Kelsi Hiler, Austin and Katie Smith. One Great Great Grandson, Brayden King. Sisters, Geraldine Brown of Jackson Center, OH., Rosie Mullen of Botkins, OH., Joan Free of Botkins, OH., Mary Rickey, Maxine Bowden both of Sidney, OH., and Francis Fridley of Anna, OH. Brothers, Thomas (Marcella) Bodenmiller of Jackson Center, OH., Donald (Carolyn) Bodenmiller of Port Jefferson, OH., Richard Bodenmiller of Sidney, OH., Fred (Evelyn) Bodenmiller of Jackson Center, OH. In-laws, Mrs. Tom (Barbara) Lettelleir, Paul (Nancy) Meyer and Son-in-law, Gary Smith also survive .
One daughter, Kathleen Smith, one brother Kenneth Bodemiller, two sisters, Helen Ingersol and Florence Yohey, in- laws, William and Marie Meyer and Francis and Thelma Meyer preceded him in death.

Bob was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. He enjoyed bowling, going to the Senior Center to play Shuffle board and always enjoyed his family.
Bob retired from the former Wagner Manfacturing where he worked as a group leader. He then was employed at Car Quest for a period of time.

A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney with Rev. Jason Bedel officiating.
Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. Friends may call Thursday from 3 to 8 P.M. at the Cromes Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave., in Sidney.
Memorials may be made to Wilson Hospice in Robert Bodenmiller's memory.
