John worked along side both my father and grandfather at the Quincy Lumber Company. I recall his kind manner as I visited the main office or other facilities during my childhood years. He always took the time to answer my questions, and did so with an assured warmheartedness that I recall with fondly. On behalf of my the Hickman family, please except our condolences on John's passing.

Mary Ruth, My deepest sympathies to you and others for Johns passing. I always loved to see him at the Lumber Company in Quincy when I was little, and at family reunions in later years. He was the best, and the world is a little darker now that he is gone. Love to you, Robin

Rest In Peace uncle John. I always enjoyed the stories you told me of your life. I smile when I think about the funny stories you would tell and that you would laugh before you could get to the end of the story. Of course this mad me laugh. You were one in a million. My deepest sympathy aunt Mary Ruth.

My deepest sympathies. I did not know John well, but then I did not know many of the older generation well. I did think of them often and wish them the best.
