Joel Emrick

JOEL DEAN EMRICK, 69, of Sidney, passed away at 9:50 AM on Monday, August 7, 2017 at his residence. He was born on August 6, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Richard and Janet (Bierly) Emrick of Brookville.

On December 21, 1974 Joel married the former Judy Blakley and she survives in Sidney. He is also survived by one daughter, Jessica (James) Blank of Sidney and two sisters, Brenda Motter of Englewood and Nancy Cook of West Milton.

Mr. Emrick received his Bachelors of Science degree in Political Science from Wright State University. Joel served in the National Guard and was an Industrial Sales Representative. He was a member of the Masons and the Shelby Oaks Golf Club. Joel loved his dogs and water garden and playing golf. Most of all he loved his family.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home & Crematory 302 S. Main Ave. Sidney. Friends may call on Friday from 10:00 AM until hour of service.
