Jay C. Mortimer

JAY C. MORTIMER, 46, of Sidney, passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at 1:45 AM at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on April 6, 1971 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of the late Charles and Carol (Gould) Mortimer.

He is survived by three children, Elizabeth Davis, Benjamin Davis and Jay Mortimer all of Sidney, three step-daughters, Nakycia Garrett of Augusta, GA, Ellean and Mary Davis both of Sidney, step-mother, Marlene Mortimer, sister, Dana Mortimer, nephew, Jacob Mortimer, and cousin, Asa Canady all of Urbana, and special friends, Linda Paulus, Regina Davis and Tammy Davis all of Sidney. He was preceded in death by one son, Johnathan Davis.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 PM on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney, with Father Frank Amberger officiating. A Committal Service will be held at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Botkins at a later date. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:30 AM until the hour of service.
