Janet Lee Linniman

JANET LEE LINNIMAN, 69 of Sidney, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at her residence.  She was born on February 13, 1948 in Somerset, Kentucky the daughter of the late Harley and Ruth King.  On July 23, 1965 she married Phillip W. Linniman who survives with two children, Shelly Linniman of Sidney and Nicole (Craig) Freisthuler of Anna.  Six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Carl King.

Mrs. Linniman was employed at BK Root Beer Stand for thirty five years.  She loved her job and was known as the "hotdog lady" by the multitude of customers she enjoyed waiting on all those years.  She attended Northtowne Church of God in Sidney.  Janet had a passion for traveling and had been to all fifty states.  She also enjoyed fishing, gambling and going to car shows with her husband and friends.  Most of all Janet loved to spend time with her daughters and grandchildren. 

Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 18, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, with Rev. Tim Bartee officiating.  Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 4:00 to 7:00PM.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association in Janet's memory.  Condolences may be expressed to the Linniman family at the funeral home's website, www.cromesfh.com
