Janet L. (Billheimer) Kirkendall

JANET L. (BILLHEIMER) KIRKENDALL, aka "NANA", age 83 of Sidney, formerly of Dublin, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 6:40 AM at Landings at Sidney. She was born on February 10, 1935 in Wooster, Ohio, the daughter of the late George V. and Laura M. (Hastings) Billheimer. On December 30, 1954 she married Ben R. Kirkendall Jr. who preceded her in death July 12, 2013.

Janet is survived by three children, Debra L. (Bill) Zimmerman of Sidney, Ben R. (Joni) Kirkendall III of Grove City, and Laura L. (John) Cianciolo of Sidney, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey S. Kirkendall, and one sister, Lila J. Wacilziv.

Mrs. Kirkendall was a 1953 graduate of Marysville High School. She was a member of Jaycees, TWIGS, and Card Club, and enjoyed traveling, gardening, golfing, movies and crosswords. Loving each one of her family members was the success of her life.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at Pleasant Cemetery in Mount Sterling, OH. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 15th from 4 to 6 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney. A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place on Monday, July 16th from 12:30 to 3:30 PM at Pinnacle Golf Club, 1500 Pinnacle Club Dr, Grove City, OH. 43123, in the Loft and Rooftop Terrance.
