Jacqueline C. (Piper) Vonderhuevel

JACQUELINE C. VONDERHUEVEL, 76 of Sidney, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 8 PM at Ohio Living Dorothy Love. She was born on October 14, 1941 in DeGraff, Ohio, the daughter of the late Neal and Rheba (Hines) Piper.

Jacqueline is survived by four children, Daniel (Candy) Vonderhuevel of Anna, Mark (Shaunna) Vonderhuevel of Tipp City, Keith (Wendy) Vonderhuevel, and Neal "Matt" Vonderhuevel both of Sidney, two sisters, Glenda Piper of Leesburg, FL, and Sandy Martin of Sidney, step-mother, Vera (Bell) Piper of Sidney, 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Vonderhuevel retired from working as a registered nurse for various nursing homes in the Sidney/Piqua areas. She was a member of Sidney First United Methodist Church.

Jackie was a truly special woman, and served as a volunteer at many places including Wilson Memorial Hospital, S&H Products, Sidney 1st UMC, and Sidney Senior Center. She loved her family, and spending time with them, especially her grandkids.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 at 10 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney, with Rev. Jane Madden officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery in DeGraff. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 8 PM.
