Geraldine Jones

GERALDINE JONES, 78 of Sidney, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 10:45 AM at her home. She was born on April 1, 1939 in Pruden, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lunda (Lambdin) Allen. On March 4, 1966 Geraldine married James A. Jones who preceded her in death March 5, 2013.

She is survived by three children, James Allen Jones, Jamie (Shannon) Perry, and David (Carri) Jones all of Sidney, siblings, Shelby Mourne of Troy, Carolyn Allen, Verlin (Alma) Allen, Joe (Diane) Allen, Linda (Thomas) Henderson, Jane (Steve) Johnson all of Sidney, and Mary (Ray) Eidemiller of Ft. Loramie, grandkids, Stephanie Jones, Allison Reedy, Mason, Jackson and Kobi Jones, and great-grandkids, Breighlen Demarcus, Liberty Everett and Ellah Jones. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lora Todd and Charlene Meadors, and one brother, Charles Allen.

Mrs. Jones was retired from Gilardi Foods after 22 years. She was a member of Northtowne Church of God.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 21, 2017 at 10 AM at Northtowne Church of God, 2008 Wapakoneta Ave, Sidney, with Rev. Tim Bartee officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 7 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney.
