Franklin Lawrence Ocke

FRANKLIN LAWRENCE OCKE, 90 of Sidney, Ohio went to be with his Lord on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 11:45 AM at Ohio Living Dorothy Love. He was born on October 3, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Frank and Edna (Cramer) Ocke. On July 4, 1953 he married his wife of 59 years, Jean B. Britton who preceded him in death January 7, 2013.

Frank is survived by two sons, Greg (Dawn) Ocke of Sidney, and Scot (Mary) Ocke of Maumee, two siblings, Donald (June) Ocke, and Marlene Wheeler both of Cincinnati, 9 grandchildren,  Emily, Daniel, Max, Megan & Alan, Mike & Kaye, Matt & Kris, and 6 great grandchildren, Thomas and Meryn, Austin and Anna, Keegan and Reilly. He was preceded in death by four siblings.

Mr. Ocke received his business degree from the University of Cincinnati, and worked in purchasing and international business for Stolle Corporation in Sidney. He was a member of Sidney First United Methodist Church, Cincinnati Masonic Lodge, Sidney IUTIS, and the Shelby Oaks Senior Swingers.

A Graveside Service will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati, Ohio on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 1 PM.  A Memorial Service will be held at Sidney First United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 3:30 PM.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:30 PM until the hour of service at the church.
