Emily J Brown

EMILY J. BROWN, 49, of Sidney passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 12:38 AM at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. She was born on September 16, 1968 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Thomas and Rebecca (Shiflett) Brown.

She is survived by four children, Tiffany (Evan) Cummings and Jarrod Brown both of Columbus and Mason Brown and Kinsey Brown both of Sidney; two sisters, Alice Brown of Sidney and Elizabeth Sandlin of Dayton and three special friends, Kimberly, Allen and Dan.

Ms. Brown was employed by City Carry Out for over 6 years. Emily was an avid reader and loved to play cards. She loved to socialize with people, especially with her eccentric group of friends at the City Carry Out. Emily loved children and was a foster mother for many years. She loved her family and enjoyed being with her nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday March 28, 2018 at 10 AM at Cromes - Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney, with Rev. Tim Bartee officiating.  Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney, Ohio. Friends may visit Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 4 PM-7 PM at Cromes - Edwards Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked memorial contributions may be made to either: AGAPE Distribution, R.A.C.K (Random Acts of Christian Kindness Foundation) or the Amos Memorial Public Library in honor of Emily's memory.
