Donald Brown Jr.

DONALD LEE BROWN JR., 63, of Sidney, passed away at 6:13 AM on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on January 26, 1954 in Battle Creek, Michigan, the son of Donald (Pat) Brown Sr. and Joyce (Simmons) Brown all whom survive in Battle Creek, MI.

On June 9, 2012 he married Susan Schenk Horwarth whom survives in Sidney. He is also survived by 2 step-children, Jennifer (Benjamin) Bolton and Christopher Horwarth, 6 step-grandchildren; Anya, Lex, Astrid and Orin Bolton, Aubrey and Claire Horwarth and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Brown had worked at Aunt Millie's Bakery Outlet as a Shipping Supervisor. Don was a member of Ginghamsburg Church in Tipp City. He enjoyed spending time at their vacation home at Indian Lake and also enjoyed skiing, golfing and woodworking. Don played in a band called the Buzz Brothers.

A Time of Gathering for family and friends will be held from 5 - 7 PM on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave. Sidney. Burial will take place at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens in Battle Creek, MI on Saturday at 11:30 AM.
