David A. Daniels

DAVID A. DANIELS, 83, of Sidney passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 at 7 AM at The Pavilion Rehab and Skilled Care Center. He was born on March 31, 1934 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Arthur and Millie (Baker) Daniels. On January 15, 1953, David married the former Ruth Weiler, who preceded him in death September 1982.

David is survived by five children, Jim (Judy) Weiler, Brian (Barbara) Daniels, Douglas Daniels, Jeffrey Daniels and LouAnn Daniels, all of Sidney; four grandchildren, Jacob, Kelly, Shannon, and Kristi; and 2 great-grandchildren. David was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Mr. Daniels was employed by the former Superior Tube Company in Wapakoneta as a maintenance worker. David's favorite hobby was going to antique auctions to look at steam power engines. He was a member of the Historical Construction Equipment Association (HCEA).

Funeral Services will be held Thursday April 20th at 12 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney, OH with Rev Phil Chilcote officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 10am up until the time of the service.
