Cynthia Ann (Ringlespaugh) Cates

CYNTHIA ANN (RINGLESPAUGH) CATES, 73, of Kingsburg, CA and formerly of Sidney, passed away at 8:29 AM on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at her residence. She was born on May 15, 1943 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert and Sara (Drake) Ringlespaugh.

Cynthia is survived by one son, Greg (Evangelina) Cates of Suffolk, VA, two grandchildren, David and Sophia Cates and one brother, Mark Ringlespaugh of Marion. She was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Cates and one brother, Mike Ringlespaugh.

Mrs. Cates was employed as a Safety Manager in the Manufacturing field. She was a member of Calvary Chapel in Minster for 15 years and Midway Baptist Church in San Diego for 25 years. Cynthia enjoyed singing in her church choir, sight-seeing in California and spending time with her grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Graceland Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave. Sidney. Condolences may be expressed to the Cates family at the funeral home's website, www.cromesfh.com
