Charles L. Morrison

CHARLES L MORRISON, 55, of Quincy passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 10:43 AM at the University of Cincinnati Hospital. He was born on March 10, 1962 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late George Morrison and Ollie (Prater) Morrison, who survives. On March 10, 1998, Charles married the former Debra Poling, who survives.

He is survived by four children, Joshua (Ashlee) Blanke of Hilliard, Charles N. Morrison (Sara Burden) of Quincy, Tracey (Kyle) Grillot of Ft. Loramie and Lindsey (Derek) Maynard of Sidney; ten grandchildren and eleven siblings, Harry Mitchell, James Mitchell, Linda Ostendorf, Betty Schmidt, David Mitchell, George N. Morrison Jr., Roy Morrison, Joe Morrison, Robert Morrison, Lloyd Matthew Morrison and Cynthia Cox. Charles was preceded in death by one daughter, Tava Ann Dulin; three brothers, Roger Mitchell, John Mitchell and Arthur Morrison and one sister, Gloria Ann Mitchell.

Mr. Morrison was self-employed as a mechanic.  He loved to tinker with his classic cars. Charles also enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his grandkids. He was a council member for the village of Quincy for 5 years.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday January 3, 2018 at 10 AM at Cromes - Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney with Pastor Mark Coulter officiating. Burial will follow at Beechwood Cemetery in Lockington.  Friends may call Tuesday January 2, 2018 from 4 PM - 7 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
