Charles F. Bolin

CHARLES F. BOLIN, 87 of Sidney, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 at 4:43 AM at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on December 31, 1929 in Plymouth, Indiana, the son of the late James A. and Helen C. (Anderson) Bolin.

On July 2, 1955 Charles first married Gloria Capdepon who preceded him in death February 26, 2005. On January 3, 2006 Charles married Tamara McCoy who survives along with four children, Dianne Barker of Spring, TX, David Bolin of Phoenix, AZ, James (Cynthia) Bolin of Tigard, OR, and Elizabeth Bolin of Smyrna, TN, one sister, Barbara Ogden of Franklin, TN, two brothers, Glenn (Carolyn) Bolin of Frederick, MD, and Donald (Brenda) Bolin of Franklin, TN, nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and step-granddaughter, Rachel Tamara Dilliard.

Mr. Bolin was a U.S. Air Force Korean War Veteran serving his country from 1950 to 1954. He was a co-founder of C'Treat Watermakers, a manufacturer of water purification components based out of Texas.

Charles was a wonderful handyman, and loved using his skills to help others in need. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney, with Rev. Diana Circelli officiating.
