Beulah Ann "Boots" Elliott

BEULAH ANN "BOOTS" ELLIOTT, 82, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 10:20 AM Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Upper Valley Medical Center.  She was born on February 28, 1935 in Circleville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Madeira Wilbur and Thelma Viola (Boyer) Skinner. 

Boots is survived by her husband of 65 years, Phil "Pete" Elliott, along with children, Debra Ann Elliott of Zionsville, IN, and Philip (Terri) Elliott of Westerville, OH; grandchildren, Nate, Maggie, P.J. and Andrea; sister, Charmane Fogt; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved K-9 companion, Sophie.  She was preceded in death by infant sister, Eleanor Skinner, and brother, Maderia Skinner. 

Mrs. Elliott was the owner and operator of Boots Antiques in Tipp City.  She was involved in her community in many capacities through United Way, Community Minded Women, Historical Society, the Eastern Star and various other committees and memberships.  She was most proud of serving at her church, Zion Lutheran, for more than 50 years.  Her favorite accomplishments were starting "Cheer Plates" at Christmas, and co-founding the "Red Hat Lunch Bunch."  She loved her family and church family passionately.  "Love was her oxygen," and her favorite Psalm 73:23 "I am with you always; you hold me by my right hand."

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, 14 W. Walnut St, Tipp City, OH, with Pastor Jeff Glawe officiating.  Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church.  Arangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S.
