Anna Marie Kies

ANNA MARIE KIES, 106, of Botkins,OH, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 1:56 A.M. at Fair Haven Shelby County Home. She was born on October 17, 1906 in Peoria, Ohio, the daughter of the late Fred and Lydia (Hatfield) Opphile. She married Clarence H. Kies who preceded in death on Jan. 8, 1999.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John (Ruth) Eick of Dellroy, OH, and Eileen Kies of Botkins, OH. Five Sons, Arthur Kies and wife Pauline of Piqua, OH, Raymond Kies and wife Linda, Harold Kies and wife Mary, and Norman Kies and wife Deloris all of Sidney, and Richard Kies and wife Shirley of Anna,OH. Twenty-One Grandchildren, Thirty Great Grandchildren, and Thirteen Great Great Grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were five brothers and sisters.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, December 14, 2012, at 2 P.M. at Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson, OH, with Rev. Tim Bartee officiating. There will be no public visitation prior to the graveside services. All arrangements are in the care of Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., Sidney, OH.
