Gary D. Cromes

A life long resident of Sidney and graduate of Sidney High School in 1966, Gary attended college at Wright State University and Edison State. After completing schooling he joined the family business, becoming a 3rd generation funeral director. Gary and his wife, the former Pat Thacker, reside in Sidney and he is the  father of two grown children and grandfather of two grandsons. Gary is active in many outdoor organizations and community clubs and is a member of Sidney First United Methodist Church and the Ohio Funeral Directors Association.

Ralph E. Cromes

Born and raised in Sidney, Ralph was named after his grandfather and founder of Cromes Funeral Home, Ralph V. Cromes. After graduating from Sidney High School in 1967 Ralph attended Edison State and Wright State University. He is a 3rd generation licensed funeral director and  family member of the Cromes Funeral Home.

Ralph is married to JoAnn (Cianciolo) Cromes, who was born and raised in Sidney, and graduated in 1969 from Holy Angels High School. Ralph is active in sports and still enjoys tennis and golf. He belongs to many Sidney community clubs, and is a member of Sidney First United Methodist Church, and the Ohio Funeral Directors Association.

William L. "Bill" Stamm

Has been associated with Cromes Funeral Home for 36 years. Bill graduated from Sidney High School in 1958. After graduation he attended Edison Community College, where he acquired an Associate of Arts degree. Bill is also a licensed funeral director.

Bill is the father of three daughters and nine grandchildren. He is a member of Temperance Lodge #73 Free & Accepted Masons, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Shrine Temple of Dayton, Pleiades Chapter 298 order of Eastern Star, the Sidney Elks Lodge, and the Sidney Moose Lodge. Bill's hobbies include antique cars and boating.

Aaron B. Edwards

A native of Sidney, Aaron graduated from Sidney Lehman High School in 1997, obtained his bachelors degree in 2001 from the University of Toledo College of Business and his mortuary science degree in 2003 from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science (CCMS). After graduating from CCMS Aaron served his apprenticeship at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, Ohio and became a licensed funeral director and embalmer in 2004. Aaron joined the Cromes staff in June of 2006. Married to the former Kelly Short, also a Sidney native, both reside in Sidney with their sons Clayton and Carter. Aaron is an active member of Grace Baptist Church in Sidney, Sidney Kiwanis Club, the Sidney Moose Lodge, and the Ohio Funeral Directors Association.

 Erik E. Edwards

Raised in Sidney, Erik is a graduate of Sidney Lehman High School, class of 2001. He received his bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University in 2005. Erik then attended the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2006, where he was awarded the Delaine L. Beaver Award for artistic excellence in restorative art. Following school, he served his apprenticeship at Rutherford Funeral Homes in Columbus, Ohio, where he continued to work for 2 years as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Erik is a member of Grace Baptist Church in Sidney and the Ohio Funeral Directors Association.
