A native of Sidney, Aaron graduated from Sidney Lehman High School in 1997, obtained his bachelors degree in 2001 from the University of Toledo College of Business and his mortuary science degree in 2003 from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science (CCMS). After graduating from CCMS Aaron served his apprenticeship at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, Ohio and became a licensed funeral director and embalmer in 2004. Aaron joined the Cromes staff in June of 2006. Married to the former Kelly Short, also a Sidney native, both reside in Sidney with their three children, Clayton, Carter and Callie. Aaron is a committee member of Shelby County Ducks Unlimited, member of the Shelby County Gideons, Sidney Kiwanis Club, and the Ohio Funeral Directors Association.

Erik E. Edwards

Erik E. Edwards

Owner/Funeral Director/Embalmer

Raised in Sidney, Erik is a graduate of Sidney Lehman High School, class of 2001. He received his bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University in 2005. Erik then attended the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2006, where he was awarded the Delaine L. Beaver Award for artistic excellence in restorative art. Following school, he served his apprenticeship at Rutherford Funeral Homes in Columbus, Ohio, where he continued to work for 2 years as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Erik and his wife, Holly (St. Myers) Edwards, both reside in Sidney with their daughters, Rhiannon, Kezia and Keilah.  Erik is a member of Grace Baptist Church in Sidney, the Shelby County Gideons, the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, and the Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council.

Jeremy E. Richards

Jeremy E. Richards

Funeral Director/Embalmer/Crematory Operator

Growing up in Sidney most of his life, Jeremy graduated from Lehman Catholic High School in 2003, obtaining his associate degree of  Fire Science Technology from Sinclair Community College in 2007. Starting out as a Volunteer Firefighter/ Paramedic, he decided to change his career in which he obtained his Bachelor of Mortuary Science degree in 2014 from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science (CCMS). Graduating with Cum Laude honors from CCMS,  he went back home to fulfill his apprenticeship at Cromes Funeral Home in which he obtained his Funeral Director/Embalmer license in 2015.  Jeremy resides in Sidney with his wife Mary (Coleman) Richards and four children son Kolten and daughters Addilyn, Raegan and Brooklyn. He is a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney, the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, and was a past member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 95 in which he achieved the highest ranking of Eagle Scout.

Kevin F. Jennings

Kevin F. Jennings

Funeral Director/Embalmer

A native of Bellefontaine, is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in June 2001.  He then became an Ohio licensed funeral director and embalmer in 2002.  Kevin joined the Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home in January of 2021 after working alongside his best friend and mentor Marion G. "Skip" Burcham for 17 years.

In August of 2002, Kevin married his wife Brandy.  He has been blessed with two children, Colin in 2004 and Addison in 2006.  In his free time, Kevin enjoys golfing with his children, gardening, and watching his children participate in sporting events.

Kevin is a proud member of the Ohio Embalmers Association.  He is also a Rotarian, Paul Harris Fellow, and 32nd degree Mason.

William L. Stamm

Funeral Director

Bill has been associated with Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home for over 40 years. He graduated from Sidney High School in 1958. After graduation he attended Edison Community College, where he acquired an Associate of Arts degree. Bill is also a licensed funeral director. 

Bill is the father of three daughters and nine grandchildren. He is a member of Temperance Lodge #73 Free & Accepted Masons, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Shrine Temple of Dayton, Pleiades Chapter 298 order of Eastern Star, the Sidney Elks Lodge, and the Sidney Moose Lodge. Bill's hobbies include antique cars and boating.
